This stately, beautiful mare is by the Olympic medalist and European Champion, Montender and our superstar Belle Clara DKS. Belle Starr DKS was dedicated to breeding from the start. She is out of our super mare Belle Clara DKS (Concorde x Budweiser), who won a lot up to 1.50m in the USA. Small, compact and ever so quick, she exhibited uncommon bravery and toughness in her sporting career. Very careful and with a great jumping technique, Belle Clara debuted at Grand Prix level as a 9yo, winning and placing many times, in any company. She was a two-time Gulf Coast Classic Open Jumper Circuit Champion in 2015 and 2016 and also two- time winner of grueling Jumper Derby at the Gulf Coast Winter Classic. A favorite of her owner, Dejan, “Bagel” as he affectionately calls her, retired to a breeding career totally sound and is still one of the best products of DKSporthorses, exemplifying the breeding philosophy: Heart. Scope. Mind. The father of Belle Starr DKS is the famous Montender (Contender x Burggraaf), a stallion that needs no introduction. It is more than enough to say that, under Marco Kutcher, Montender won two Olympics bronze medals and two European gold medals for Germany.
Belle Starr DKS began producing spothorses in 2018 with AES licensed stallion Belgrade DKS (Darco-Montender-Concorde) and followed up that impressive cross with a stunning black colt in 2020, Dark Star DKS Z (Douglas VDL-Montender-Concorde). In 2022, she continued her trend of producing flashy colts with Macfly DKS, sired by Mylord Carthago.
