Belle Clara DKS

This brave and athletic mare is one of a kind!  Beautiful and petite, this mare is all fire when she walks into the show ring.  She is super careful and has outstanding technique (which she passes to her offspring).  She likes to go fast and she LOVES to win.  She has racked up top placings at the World Equestrian Festival, Gulf Coast Winter Circuit, Tryon Equestrian Center, Venice Equestrian Tour, Colorado Horse Park, Omaha International Horse Show, Great Southwest Equestrian Center… and the list goes on and on.  Bella Clara, affectionately known as “Bagel”, competed in her first 1.50 m Grand Prix at age 9 (finishing 2nd!), and she has since been named the Open Jumper Circuit Champion at the Gulf Coast Winter Circuit in 2015 and 2016.  She is also a two-time winner of the demanding Jumper Derby at the Gulf Coast Winter Circuit.  In 2017, Bagel won the Welcome Stake at the Venice Equestrian Tour and placed in two Grand Prix classes at the 2017 Gulf Coast Winter Circuit.  This mare perfectly exemplified our breeding philosophy: Heart. Scope. Mind. We have been experimenting with how best to leverage her skills in breeding, and she has produced foals from three legends: Montender (Belle Starr DKS, who is currently in our breeding program), Verdi TN (Belcanto DKS), and Diamant de Semilly (Jolie Clara DKS, who has been sold to Wioleta Sipak of Poland). In 2020, we branched out to add a new legend, to see what a cross between Belle Clara DKS and Mylord Carthago would produce, and we received in response a very exciting filly Kempten DKS. And in 2021, she produced one of our two Emerald foals, Lil Peche DKS, bringing the proven success of the Diamant de Semilly line back into her list of progeny. In 2022, she welcomed a filly by Winningmood, Merica DKS.
