The dam, Otoucha van’t Roosakker (Kannan x For Pleasure) comes from a famous family: she is the granddaughter of Electra van’t Roosakker, who jumped with Pieter Clemens, Janika Sprunger and Jos Lansink on a 1.60m international level. Otoucha sucesfully started her sports career, coming third in Belgian championship for 3yo in 2017 and participating at “Belgisch Kamioenschap 6&7 jarige paarden” in 2020 with Niel Vangelder. Otoucha’s dam, Ikea van’t Roosakker (For Pleasure x Carthago) did not compete, but produced 6 horses jumping over 1.30m, including Dermott Lennon’s 1.60 horse L’Esprit hero Z (Lexicon). Her full brother is the impressive 1.60 jumper Horpleasure van ‘t Roosakker, her aunt is Gatoucha van’t Roosakker, a 1.50m jumper and a sucesfull broodmare, recently sold at an auction for staggering 570.000 euros…the pedigree on this side goes back to the well-known Usha van't Roosakker who jumped 1.60m herself and produced many excellent jumpers! Out of this dam line came multiple GP horses, among them a European vice-champion from 2013 Cella with Ben Maher, Emporio, Equador van't roosakker, Kassander van't Roosakker and others. Otoucha is by Kannan (Voltaire x Nimmerdor), a legend that has been in the world Top 20 WBFSH Ranking for 10 years! He was a successful competition horse, French champion in 2005 with Michel Hecart, winning and placed in many GP and NC. But he is the most famous as a sire, having more than 600 offspring winning in CSI, among them Olympic Champion in 2012 Nino des Buissonnets with S. Guerdat, 2019 Pan-american team gold medallist Quabri de l'Isle with P. Veniss. No less than 250 of Kannan offspring are jumping 1.50m+ and he has sired 160 licensed sons so far!

The sire, Cornet Obolensky (Clinton x Heartbreaker), recorded more than 90 podium finishes in his career with Marco Kutcher, including team gold for Germany in ECH in 2011 and NC wins in 2008, 2011 and 2012. Just as easily as he impressed the judges at his stallion trials, when he scored a perfect 10 for free jumping, he fascinated the world as a sire, producing in his first crop horses such as Cristallo I, Cornado NRW, Conte Bellini and Cornet d´Amour, and continuing with champions like Comme il Faut, Balou de Reventon, Cornet's Cristallo and others, rounding it all off with a 2019 European individual champion Clooney 51, the ride of Martin Fuchs! Cornet sire is Clinton, equal fourth from Olympic Games in Athens with D. Demeersman, a Holstener stallion that, in addition to Cornet, produced horses such as team champion WEG 2018 Clinta with McLain Ward and vice-champion at the Pan-American Games Coral Reef Via Volo with B. Madden (coincidentally the full sister of our own Bella Vita van de Molendreef). On the dam side, Cornet has legendary Heartbreaker, a horse that greatly influences the breeding of today, trough his numerous sons. Cornet brings blood, explosiveness and a lot of respect to his offspring, all of which are essential qualities for becoming a champion. He has produced 252 licensed sons so far and nearly 200 of his progeny are jumping 1.50+.

So...both from his mother and from his father's side this embryo gets class! And the combination Cornet x Kannan already produced 3 licenced stallions!
